Paul Nehlen: “No Spending Deal Should Include DACA”

By | 2018-02-17T15:04:09+00:00 October 25th, 2017|

Delavan, WI – Republican U.S. House candidate Paul Nehlen is calling on House Speaker Paul Ryan to exclude any legislative fix for illegal aliens allowed to remain in the U.S. under Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA), dubbed “Dreamers” by Obama.

“Paul Ryan is holding the federal budget hostage in order to foist his progressive open-border agenda on the American people,” Nehlen said. “Paul Ryan is taking a page out of the Barack Obama book by creating a budget crisis so he can force through his liberal open-borders agenda.”

“Illegal aliens ought not be given a path to citizenship separate from the naturalization process already in place,” Nehlen continued, “and Ryan’s cynical ploy to hold the budget at gunpoint in order to give illegal aliens a path to citizenship should disqualify him from leadership in the House and from representing Wisconsin in Congress.”

“Republicans in the House are already lining up against Ryan’s cynical ploy to rubber stamp Barack Obama’s illegals,” Nehlen explained. “Speaker Ryan is setting up Congressional Republicans and President Trump for yet another failure.”

“Ryan just isn’t getting the job done in D.C., and he’s not getting the job done in Wisconsin,” Nehlen concluded.

Paul Nehlen is a turnaround specialist, business executive, and inventor who started on the factory floor, who, with God’s grace and some determination, rose to lead Fortune 500 manufacturing businesses around the world. Nehlen challenged Speaker Paul Ryan in Wisconsin’s 2016 First Congressional District to stop Trans-Pacific Partnership and secure America’s border. He is waging the battle for Wisconsin’s workers, against the refugee resettlement racket, and lends his voice to the battle for America’s values. He lives in Delavan, Wisconsin.

Paul Nehlen Calls on Paul Ryan to Immediately Investigate Sexual Abuse in Hollywood

By | 2018-02-17T15:05:22+00:00 October 16th, 2017|

Delavan, WI – Republican Paul Nehlen is calling on House Speaker Paul Ryan to immediately investigate the multiplying reports of systemic sexual abuse of vulnerable young men and women in Hollywood at the hands of powerful figures like Harvey Weinstein.

Commenting on the latest revelations on Weinstein, Paul Ryan recently stated that, “In any institution, wherever you look in society, you’re going to have these kinds of problems. The more you can expose it and the more we can castigate people in society on these things to show that this is not acceptable behavior, that’s to the good.”

Paul Nehlen commends Speaker Ryan’s statement on this issue, and is calling on Ryan to use his powerful position as House Speaker to conduct real investigations that will put an end to this atrocious behavior in Hollywood once and for all.

“The House must immediately use the power of subpoena to get to the bottom of reports of sexual abuse and corruption in the entertainment industry,” declared Nehlen, in response to reports that Harvey Weinstein and other Hollywood executives are using their immense power and connections to rape, sexually abuse, and otherwise pressure vulnerable young actors and actresses into trading sexual favors for career favors.

“With Harvey Weinstein, we may only be talking about the tip of the iceberg as far as systemic sexual abuse in Hollywood is concerned,” Nehlen said. “Paul Ryan should immediately instruct the Republican House to get a handle on this problem and ensure that we put an end to the the corrupt and potentially criminal sexual practices running rampant in the entertainment industry.”

“Are we entrusting our nation’s culture to a den of sexual abusers and perverts?” asked Nehlen. “Our children deserve better, and a House Investigation is the the first step in addressing the nation’s concerns.”

DAILY CALLER: Paul Nehlen Is Back Running Against Paul Ryan

By | 2017-07-14T14:10:52+00:00 July 14th, 2017|

Paul Nehlen — a businessman, congressional candidate, and Paul Ryan foe — says he is coming for the establishment.

Nehlen ran an unsuccessful campaign against House Speaker Ryan in his home district in 2016. Now, he plans on running again in 2018 to unseat the Speaker from his Wisconsin seat. He also has a new book titled “Wage the Battle” coming out that he describes as a “call to action.”

In an interview with The Daily Caller, Nehlen talked trade, globalists, and his campaign against Paul Ryan:

What is the purpose of writing this book? What do you hope to accomplish?

“In this book I tear the mask off of politicians like Speaker Paul Ryan who only endorse a wall between President Trump and our America First agenda. I reveal the shocking betrayal of the globalists and how to defeat them. This book is a call to action.”

What do you think are your most important issues? I know you were big on killing TPP, what’s the next big issue for you?

Supporting President Trump and the America First agenda. We need a wall on the southern border, a halt to the refugee resettlement racket, a full repeal of Obamacare, great bi-lateral trade deals, and tariffs on the countries who are at economic war with America.

What do you think your chances are for beating Paul Ryan are?

I think my chances are great this time. We have fourteen months versus the our months we had last time. My name recognition is high among the grassroots in Wisconsin and Speaker Ryan continues to undermine the Trump administration just as he said he would before the election.

What is your sense of the trend of conservative voters? Some have suggested that enthusiasm for Trumpian populism could be on the decline since his election win, while others think it’s stayed the same or increased? What is your take?

I think there is a thirst in this country for economic nationalism and a truly America First agenda. Trump embodied those things on the campaign trail and while he is bogged down with the swamp, there is no lack of enthusiasm out here in America, no matter how the UniParty globalists try to spin it.

What’s the biggest takeaway you want readers to have after finishing your book?

I want people to come away from reading that book realizing that one man (or woman) can really make a difference. In four months, it was possible for Nehlen to wage a winning battle against Trans Pacific Partnership, a treaty that was negotiated in secret for over half a decade, lauded by Speaker Ryan, Hillary Clinton, and President Obama. Nehlen is energizing like-minded conservatives to rally to America’s defense of economic nationalism.

When asked for any further comments, Nehlen told TheDC, “We are all tired of career politicians who try to spin half-effort into bold initiative. In my case, running against Speaker Ryan was running against a fraudulent empty suit.”

“He was never for securing the border or repealing Obamacare, and that has played out for the world to see. Paul Ryan has never worked as hard for Wisconsinites or American workers as hard as he has for his big corporate donors. I will fight for the sovereignty of America and to tilt the playing field in America’s favor.”

Nehlen’s new book “Wage the Battle” is out on WND Books in hardcover on July 27.

Hillary Was Elected President Of California

By | 2017-07-03T13:13:17+00:00 July 3rd, 2017|

This was sent to me this morning and I thought it was worth sharing…let’s hear it for the Electoral College!

We hear a cacophony of blaring and bleating from the media and the Hillary gaggle that she won the popular vote and therefore she should be president, 60,839,497 to 60,265,847. 47.8% to 47,3% with the remaining 4.9% going to the other candidates.

But here are the facts:

Trump won the popular vote in 31 states to her 19 and DC. 62% to her 38%. Trump led in the total popular vote for all states except California.

Hillary won California 5,860,714 to Trump’s 3,151,821. 61.6% to 33.1% exclusive of the other candidates. Thus California gave Hillary the popular vote for all states as claimed by the Democrats and their media stooges.

But deduct her California vote from her national vote leaving her with 54,978,783, and deduct Trump’s California vote from his national total, leaving him with 57,113.976, he wins in a landslide in the other 49 states, 51.3% to her 48.7%.

So, in effect, Hillary was elected president of California and Trump was elected president of the rest of the country by a substantial margin.

This exemplifies the wisdom of the Electoral College, to prevent the vote of any one populace state from overriding the vote of the others. Trump’s Campaign Manager, Kellyanne Conway, whose expertise is polling, saw this early on and devised her strategy of “6 pathways to the White House”.

This meant ignoring California with its huge Democrat majority and going after the states that would give him the necessary electoral votes to win, FL, NC, MI, PA, OH, and WI.

At its lowest point since the civil war! Could this mean the end of the Democrat Party? When the afternoon of January 20, 2017 arrives, the Republican Party will have:
1) The Presidency.
2) A majority of the House of Representatives.
3) A majority of the Senate.
4) Almost two-thirds of all the governorships.
5) Total control of the statehouses in almost two-thirds of all the states.
And in the near future, Republicans will be able to add:
6) A majority of the Supreme Court.

The above has never happened before in American history.
Think about that and let it sink in for a moment.
And it’s all because of one reason: Barack Obama’s forcing his extreme far-left muslim/marxist agenda on an unwilling country by executive orders, left wing judges, and obsequious bureaucrats.
—————————– —————————— ————-

It’s important to pass this on. With the demand that we do away with the Electoral College and take the popular vote being pushed by the media, etc, all Americans need to know that the Electoral College is working exactly as our Founding Fathers intended.

Paul Nehlen: Paul Ryan Has Zero Manufacturing Credibility

By | 2017-06-22T02:26:59+00:00 June 22nd, 2017|

by Paul Nehlen | June 20, 2017

It’s been reported that Speaker Ryan is going to speak to a room full of manufacturing leaders at the National Association of Manufacturers (NAM) today. Ryan’s office is billing as his first major address on tax reform this year, and that Ryan will participate in a question-and-answer session afterward.

This should be interesting.

Paul Ryan has zero experience with manufacturing. There is not one instance of Ryan ever holding a job managing manufacturing operations tasked with competing against local or foreign manufacturers.

However, I’ve run heavily engineered manufacturing businesses around the globe. So I’ll take this opportunity to pose a few questions for Speaker Ryan that those in attendance might think about asking him:

  1. Why is it you don’t support President Trump’s 15 percent corporate tax, and instead prefer to cap the rate at 25 percent? Could it be that your large multi-national American donors can afford tax accountants and tax attorneys who will reduce their firm’s effective tax rate to below what small and mid-sized firms will eventually pay?
  2. Why should countries who already buy more from American manufacturers (our best foreign customers) be subjected to your Border Adjustment Tax (BAT) the same as countries like China, Germany, South Korea, Japan, and Taiwan who are the real trade deficit culprits according to this report by the Treasury Department?
  3. If your Border Adjustment Tax were to by some miracle pass (which it won’t) how would you ensure small and mid-sized non-exporting American manufacturers aren’t preyed upon by large American exporters utilizing the 20 percent rebate you’ve baked into the BAT?
  4. Why don’t you see it as your job to tilt the playing field in favor of Wisconsin and American workers than to constantly suggest we need to level the playing field with foreign workers?

It’s been reported Ryan will say something to the effect of,

“With more jobs, higher wages, and a stronger economy, American workers and families would be the greatest beneficiaries of this reform,” Ryan’s office said. “That’s why, following the principles outlined earlier this year by President Trump, the House, Senate, and administration are working together to meet this historic opportunity.”

Does Paul Ryan realize that foreign manufacturers will flock to the U.S. when the Corporate tax rate is dropped to 15 percent?

Does Paul Ryan realize that the engine plant that left Kenosha for Canada did so because the tax rate in Canada is 15 percent?

Does Paul Ryan realize that the GE plant that just announced it is leaving Waukesha is doing so because Canada offered $2B and a 15 percent tax rate?

Canadian workers are inferior to American workers. I can say so with authority because I closed a Canadian factory in 2015 while with Neptune and brought those jobs back to America—more profitably I might add.

While with Tyden and SPX, I moved Mexican and Chinese factory jobs back to the U.S.—again more profitably. I’d do so again in a heartbeat.

The Speaker’s office last week said Ryan chose to give the speech at the NAM conference because one of his goals is to encourage companies to bring jobs back to the U.S.

That’s odd. Then why would you refuse to do the one thing that would drive that more than any other, reduce the Corporate Tax rate to 15 percent like President Trump suggests?

“We want tax reform now. We think it’s really important,” said Dorothy Coleman, vice president of tax and domestic economic policy at NAM. The Hill reported that she added that it’s becoming increasingly apparent that the U.S. tax code is holding businesses back.

It is very encouraging: NAM is one of several prominent business groups that has not taken a stance on the border adjustments proposal.

NAM should take this opportunity to reject the BAT and endorse President Trump’s 15 percent Corporate tax.

Ryan and House Ways and Means Committee Chairman Kevin Brady (R-Texas) have touted the BAT as “removing the Made In America tax.”

That’s just, as my grandfather would say, hogwash.

Paul Nehlen is not another lifelong politician, but a business executive and inventor. Nehlen started out on the factory floor, and through God’s grace, grit, and determination rose to lead Fortune 500 manufacturing businesses around the world. Nehlen challenged Speaker Paul Ryan in Wisconsin’s 2016 First Congressional District to stop Trans-Pacific Partnership and secure America’s border. Today he is waging the battle against the refugee resettlement racket and leading the cause to fight for America’s values. Nehlen has announced he is challenging Ryan in the 2018 Wisconsin First Congressional District primary. He lives in Delavan, Wisconsin.

NEHLEN LAUNCHES BID FOR U.S HOUSE

By | 2017-06-16T16:20:43+00:00 June 16th, 2017|

Paul Nehlen is challenging U.S. House Speaker Paul Ryan for the Republican nomination in Wisconsin’s first congressional district.

Nehlen, a turnaround specialist, business executive, and inventor, first challenged Speaker Ryan for the nomination in 2016, forcing Ryan to spend $10.6 million dollars to win the nomination in the southern Wisconsin congressional district.

His first foray into politics led to Ryan’s about-face on the job-killing Trans-Pacific Partnership, a so-called “free trade deal” that would’ve shipped American jobs to Asia.

“Speaker Ryan didn’t help Mr. Trump defeat Hillary Clinton, and even pledged not to defend the president,” Nehlen said of Ryan. “But I have a message for Speaker Ryan: The American people are not done fighting for President Trump’s good agenda. And that’s why I am running against Paul Ryan.”

Nehlen, who started on the factory floor, rose to lead Fortune 500 manufacturing businesses around the world. “As an executive, I’ve brought jobs back from China and Mexico and Canada to the United States. That’s the kind of experience Wisconsin desperately needs right now,” Nehlen said.

“Last year in my first challenge to Speaker Ryan, we managed to, the Trans-Pacific Partnership

Last year after we killed Ryan’s and Obama’s job-killing deal, Ryan picked right back up by kicking TPP over to his pal Kevin Brady to carry before Trump killed it. And Ryan is still pushing the Border Adjustment Tax, Nehlen said.

“Thankfully we succeeded in forcing Ryan to walk back his position on TPP long enough for Donald Trump to defeat Hillary in November and finally kill the thing.” Nehlen explained.

“If Hillary Clinton had been president, Paul Ryan would’ve forced TPP through with her help during the lame duck session,” he claimed.

“But Paul Ryan still hasn’t gotten the memo. Millions of Americans voted for President Trump, and they expect Paul Ryan to work to repeal Obamacare, end bad, job-killing trade deals, close the border, defund the dangerous refugee resettlement racket, and back the President’s strong, America First agenda. But that hasn’t happened,” he says.

“Sadly, Ryan’s behavior is predictable. He gets 99% of his donations from outside the district, mostly from Corporate PACs,” Nehlen said, a claim that holds up, according to OpenSecrets.org.

“Paul Ryan is a career politician who has been in D.C. for nearly two decades. He may have been a nice Wisconsin boy when he left Janesville,” Nehlen said, “but now Ryan is working for special interests and industry bosses, working to sell Wisconsin’s jobs to Mexico and Asia. Ryan is working hand-in-hand with multinational corporations to reduce their costs by giving them access to low-paid immigrant labor. And it is decimating Wisconsin’s economy,” he said.

“Wisconsin voted to drain the swamp last November, so that’s what I’m going to do,” he said.

Victims Advocate and Activist Maria Espinoza Endorses Paul Nehlen in WI-1 Congressional Race against Paul Ryan

By | 2017-06-16T18:21:30+00:00 June 1st, 2016|

(Kenosha, WI)Volunteers for Nehlen announced today that Maria Espinoza, well-known victims advocate and an activist on border security issues has offered her personal endorsement of Paul Nehlen in his effort to unseat Paul Ryan in the primary race unfolding in Wisconsin’s 1st Congressional District.

Espinoza was a 2016 Primary GOP Candidate for U.S. Congress in Houston, Texas, CD-7. Since 2009, however, she has served as national director for the Remembrance Project, bringing attention to the plight of those whose loved ones have been killed by illegal aliens. Ms. Espinoza is a strong proponent of securing U.S. borders and upholding current laws in order better to protect America’s constitutional republic and its citizens.

Espinoza noted her conviction that Nehlen would put Americans first, stand for strong borders, fight for a strong military, work in the interests of a stronger economy, and respect the rule of law. She also noted the important role of WI-1 voters in a race with national implications.

When Wisconsin GOP voters go to the polls on August 9, 2016, to choose their next CD-1 GOP House candidate, their votes will prove to be a pivotal moment in the nation’s fight toward restored freedom, Espinoza stated. It is time to restore the will of the people, and Paul Nehlen has promised to be that advocate.

Responding to the endorsement, Nehlen said I’m so grateful to have the endorsement of someone with the unflagging courage to engage in the many ways that Maria Espinoza has and does. She stands in the public sphere on a daily basis to do battle for the American people for their rights and their voice. I am pleased to fight alongside her on border security and other issues that matter profoundly to the future and security of our nation and its citizens.

Espinoza’s endorsement statement cited numerous issues-based reasons for her support of Nehlen’s campaign and why she believes Paul Ryan must be defeated, including border security, spending, value for human life, and trade. Excerpts follow below:

Border Security Is Paramount (excerpt): [Paul Ryan] champions the same failed policies that have led us to this dangerous precipice, where unidentified illegal aliens are crossing unabated into our communities, causing enormous losses of American lives and our Constitutionally guaranteed freedoms.

2016 Omnibus (excerpt): Speaker Ryan has continued a Pelosi/Boehner style of national budget policies that will further plunge America and future generations into poverty, insecurity, joblessness and into a 3rd world existence. His now infamous 2016 Omnibus budget is but one example of Ryan’s disrespect for our Constitutional process and citizen taxpayers, funding Obama’s illegal amnesty plan, Muslim refugee resettlement, and many other costly social programs.

Trans-Pacific Partnership (excerpt): On the matter of ill-fated free-trade agreements, Ryan has been equally deaf to the voice of the majority of Americans, millions of whom have lost jobs to outsourcing. Why has Ryan chosen to side, not with American workers, but with big corporations instead? The TPP must be stopped. Ryan must be stopped. And only the WI CD-1 voters can make this happen.

Paul Nehlen Files Nomination Signatures, Ramps Up Campaign to Defeat Paul Ryan in Wisconsin’s 1st District

By | 2017-06-15T22:50:24+00:00 June 1st, 2016|

(Madison, WI) It is now official. Paul Ryan will have a challenger on the ballot in Wisconsin’s 1st Congressional District, said insurgent candidate Paul Nehlen just after submitting his nomination signatures to Wisconsin’s Government Accountability Board today.

This campaign is about to ramp up even further, Nehlen added. Watch and see. People in this district will know that they now have an alternative to a career politician who’s been selling them out.

For Wisconsin congressional candidates, the process of gathering nomination signatures begins in mid-April. All signatures must be submitted by June 1. State law requires a threshold of 1,000 signatures from district voters in order for the candidate’s name to appear on the ballot. Team Nehlen gathered approximately 1,810 signatures. Officials at the Government Accountability Board told campaign staff that Nehlen’s nomination signatures appeared to be in solid order.

It’s an exciting day for me and for the whole campaign team, Nehlen stated. We’ve done what we needed to do to ensure ballot access. Now, we can devote literally every waking moment to getting our message out putting valuable information in the hands of the voters.

Paul Ryan’s had it easy for the last 18 years. He’s essentially been the only game in town. He hasn’t even had to run real campaigns to get re-elected. His messaging machine has just rolled out like clockwork to tell people what a great job he’s doing. That PR machine hasn’t bothered to mention that Paul Ryan was actually voting on behalf of Big Donors and selling his constituents out on everything from spending to jobs and security.

But now Paul Ryan’s finally got real competition. People have a choice, someone who actually wants to represent them rather than just make a quick buck at their expense. And Team Nehlen is going to work tirelessly to ensure that they know it.

Paul Ryan appears to be helping some very big investors to engineer an extremely lucrative failure

By | 2017-06-16T18:22:21+00:00 May 25th, 2016|

(Delavan, WI) “Paul Ryan appears to be helping some very big investors to engineer an extremely lucrative failure,” said Paul Nehlen early today. Nehlen is the insurgent candidate challenging Ryan for the congressional seat in Wisconsin’s 1st District.

“I now have a very strong sense of why Paul Ryan is so determined to ram this Puerto Rico bailout through Congress before the Memorial Day weekend,” Nehlen asserted. “He needs this travesty to go through like greased lightning before its true purpose is well understood by the public or their representatives. He needs other legislators to be at least unwittingly complicit in this vote so it ‘s harder for people to point a finger at him.

“Hedge funds hold the majority of Puerto Rico ‘s general-obligation debt. And hedge funds, in particular, have feigned rejection of Paul Ryan ‘s Puerto Rico bailout, claiming it will hurt them. But it ‘s clear from a $1.3 billion block trade earlier this year that at least one very heavy hitter is simply playing for time, waiting for Puerto Rico ‘s problems to grow worse. Why? Because, essentially, the bigger Puerto Rico ‘s problems get, the bigger the cash-in once that bailout plan goes through.”
“Those watching this situation know that the Puerto Rico Government Development Bank (GDB) has asked general-obligation debt holders to take a 47 percent haircut on its bonds. That would mean 53 cents on the dollar. But the block trade was made for 4.375% taxable 2019 GDB senior notes at 23.5 cents on the dollar. That would net this as-yet unknown entity a 125 percent return. That ‘s one whole lot of cash at the expense of others. And the fact is, an investor like this who wants to cash in absolutely wants the federal government involved in a bailout. That ‘s their backstop, their way of ensuring that, no matter what happens or how many other people lose on this mess, they win big.

“Paul Ryan ‘s Puerto Rico bailout increasingly looks to be the insurance policy for people who are likely committing massive fraud. Any federal representative who doesn‘t want to absorb the stench of this thing should be backing away from the Puerto Rico plan and insisting on a full investigation first.”

Paul Ryan Running Phony Victory Lap on Obamacare Ruling, Says Wisconsin Challenger Paul Nehlen

By | 2017-06-16T18:22:46+00:00 May 17th, 2016|

(Delavan, WI) ‘When it comes to Monday’s circuit court ruling on Obamacare, Paul Ryan may want to rethink that victory lap he’s taking,’ said Paul Nehlen this afternoon. Nehlen is running an insurgent campaign against the 18-year incumbent for the congressional seat in Wisconsin’s 1st District.

As usual, Paul Ryan’s public relations machine is doing one thing, while he’s in the background doing another. If you’re going to stand up and say you think Obamacare is being illegally funded, then you should be willing to do something significant about it when the power of the U.S. purse is placed in your hands.

One of Paul Ryan’s non-returnable Christmas presents to we, the American people was $1.8 trillion in Omnibus spending. In that big ol box of ugly was one heck of a lot of Obamacare funding, with only a single provision to stem the tide, a prohibition against using taxpayer dollars to bail out insurance companies, who are literally bleeding money as a result of this failing initiative. Even the delays on taxing medical devices and ‘Cadillac’ insurance plans, touted by Paul Ryan and his establishment buddies in Washington as helpful measures, were ultimately foolish. All those delays do is kick the can down the road and facilitate further entrenchment of Obamacare over the coming two years.

I won’t speak for the rest of the American public,” Nehlen added, “but I’d have preferred that Paul Ryan save all that money and just gift me an ugly Christmas sweater.”

Hey, it looks great that Paul Ryan filed this big lawsuit. It looks great that he got this ruling. And the court’s right- Obamacare is being illegally funded. The problem is that Paul Ryan, the Speaker of the House, the guy holding the purse in his hands, funded it anyway.”
